Abstract

The object of the present research is literary studies. Carrying out his study, the researcher is called by what exists and by the requirements of innovation. He often finds information he needs but there is a problem when he considers some of them as absolute truths he sometimes reproduces without references in his studies. Thus, the research process ends with counterproductive results not expected by literary research concerned with problems known by humanity. Through a critical analysis, the objective of our work is to show the obligation for the researcher to bring something new without ignoring what already exists. It is both a questioning of the scientific way with its key concepts and an emphasis on the plurality of significance of literary texts. From the analysis , it is known that the effort to find information is a legitimate one, but they must be crossed over, completed or replaced and the researcher should always remember that science i s substantially innovating for the sake of humanity.
