The historical work of Dominique Ngoïe -Ngalla is notable for its major interest in the populations of the Niari valley. His historical approach borrows heavily from social and cultural anthropology, in the constant effort he makes to search for cultural clues capable of establishing a solid and irrefutable cultural link between them. In this contribution, it is a question of reviewing this work in order t o identify the elements of living together of these complex Kongo cultural communities that destiny had finished grouping together within a well -defined geographical space, the Niari valley. In optimizing the expected results, constructive and comprehensiv e approaches will serve as a guide, alongside endogenous traditions.
