Abstract

This paper discusses the socio -ethical requirements and philosophical challenges of “ecosophy” (M. Maffesoli , 2010, p.68), which needs to be taught today. It therefore endeavours to link philosophy and environmental ethics. As much as it questions the place of environmental principles in today's ecological field, this perspective introduces “bio -eco-philo -sophy” as one of the areas of knowledge for education in the future. This interdisciplinary knowledge makes it possible to study several “ecosophical” principles, such as the “precautionary principle” which, once elevated to the positive rank of humanity without faces or shores, subsumes the ecological era (E. Morin, 2007, p.50). We are therefore trying to show that the educational and cultural approaches to ecosophy that contribute to the respect of nature and human nature, which is inseparable from nature, are interdependent and can be explained ethically and aesthetically concerning each other, to ensure the “proper use of nature”, to use Catherine Larrère's expression. The aim is not only to “ecologise humanity”, despite his complexity, but also to “ecosophici se” the nature. The correlation between “brown philosophy” and “green philosophy” (M. F. Mukendji Mbandakulu, 2007, p.158) is a multidisciplinary issue, because it lies at the heart of cross -disciplinary philosophical reflections on our times, based on the “human condition” and extended to the “animal condition”.
