This article opens on hermeneutics and metaphysical understanding, phenomenological behavior through the relevant criticism that Merleau-Ponty addresses to idealism, empiricism, classical psychology, mechanistic physiology and behaviorism. Thanks to these criticisms of Merleau-Ponty, the article thus shows how the world remains by itself that pure behavior which opens up this subject which is man to the world by opening it also to the other with whom he shares this world as inter-world.
