Abstract

The vector of scientific evolution is not a straight line. It is realized in the light of the quarrels between the theories. In the thorny question of the origin of life, theories such as those of abiogenesis and phylogeny have fought each other. This battle has undoubtedly resulted in a panoply of innovation and scientific advancement. Thus, this present reflection analyzes the different natures of abiogenesis and phylogeny, in order to understand their antinomy. And finally, it assesses the epistemological scope of their confrontation while showing the need for it. This epistemological scope is perceived through the contributions in the various biological sciences.
