Abstract

This study was conducted at the Psychopedagogical Institute of Brazzaville, in order to identify the main problems that prevent its proper functioning. From a methodological approach based on direct observation, psychological interview and questionnaire, it appears that, despite the efforts made, the Psychopedagogical Institute does not make significant progress in relation to the socio-professional reintegration of children with disabilities. intellectual. These remaining problems are mainly: the non- existence of the investment budget; the lack of reliable infrastructure, modern technical equipment and adequate teaching materials; the numerical insufficiency and the non - qualification of specialized educators; lack of development, training of very aging staff.
