This paper analyses the metaphor for the ideology of the future in the novels of the Shoah. It aims to highlight the faith through the metaphorical function in a better future for the Jewish characters in Hitler's camps between 1939 and 1945. Thus, we apply, as the approach, the aesthetics of reception: based on symbolic and connotative criteria to come to some results on the futurible. These results allow us to show that the aesthetics of the futurible is built on metaphor as a guarantee of survival during the vicissitudes of life.
