This study deals with the analysis of phonological processes based on a Kisundi dialect spoken in Kimongo in the Republic of Congo. Data are collected at the Department of Niari. This work is carried out under the generative theory framework. It results from this scrutiny that Kisundi Kimongo attests two types of phonological processes related to its phonemic system. Consonant change is due to assimilation processes notably labialization, velarization, labiodentalization, aveolarization, glottalization and devoicing. Vowels, on the contrary, can be altered thanks to labial and palatal assimilation.
