Focalisation et topicalisation en mosange, langue bantu de la saw-moeko, C31c’ndolo

Abstract

The present study on Mosange concerns a field yet unexploited in this language. It is about the syntax. We are examining focalization and topicalization, two utterance processes that fit into the information structure when talking about emphatic sentences. The first refers to new information while the second relates to known information. The principle of the Mosange immence led us to update this information of great communicational significance with a view to allowing other researchers to discover this disappearing language because of Lingala, the lingua franca in the region.
