This article discusses the development of the spoken French corpus collected in the Republic of Congo (CFPC) in order to analyze the different linguistic varieties of French. The CFPC makes it possible to study authentic uses of the French language. The article is therefore concerned with the problem of the constitution of the corpus, the choice of the data, the conditions of registration, the transcription choice and the legal problems.
